Job Description

Responsibilities and Desired Experience A multinational tools company is selecting for its unit in Itajaí – Commercial Director reporting to the general management and presidency. Responsibilities: – Plan and supervise all activities in the company’s commercial area, ensuring the smooth running of sales, customer service, and product-related activities, within established policies. – Coordinate the activities of the Commercial Manager, ensuring the conformity of their procedures with the company’s commercial policy. – Interact with suppliers in defining new products and modifications to existing products, aiming to improve product quality and customer satisfaction. – Plan and organize regular meetings with the sales team to analyze and evaluate results, correct courses of action, and identify new sales opportunities. – Develop and monitor market prospecting plans, identifying new areas of operation or market segments to increase sales volume and market share. – Define and supervise the development of marketing research and studies, involving customer preferences, competition actions, market opportunities, to support operational decisions or business expansion. – Plan and define standards for sales promotion campaigns. – Conduct strategic cost analysis, critical variable analysis, financial/economic simulations, feasibility studies, as well as budgets, investment projects, and new business projects. – Establish a market scenario for the business, including overall demand levels, price levels, and sales volume per competitor, in order to establish profitability goals per product and achieve the desired market share. – Plan and supervise the development and execution of advertising campaigns, in conjunction with the advertising agency, defining the communication channels. – Define and supervise the production of product catalogs, promoting their disclosure in the market to contribute to sales growth. – Plan and supervise activities related to visual communication, aiming to achieve the best possible return in terms of company image and brand presence. – Coordinate activities related to the company’s strategic planning, gathering and analyzing relevant information about the economic-financial scenario to contribute to the development of action plans that lead the company to achieve its objectives. – Coordinate the identification and analysis of existing procedures in all areas of the company, aiming for standardization and formalization in written procedures for use by all organizational levels. Profile – Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Commercial Management, or Business Management with specialization in the commercial area. – Experience in commercial management and marketing. – Fluent in English.
