A Pernod Ricard, one of the largest wine and spirits producers, is looking for a Maintenance and Projects Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and equipment, maintaining buildings and industrial facilities, and managing costs. They will also be responsible for developing and motivating the team, ensuring service quality excellence, and implementing continuous improvements. Requirements include a completed bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and proficiency in maintenance planning and control, 5S, and risk assessment. Responsibilities and Assignments

  • Supervise the Maintenance and Projects area, ensuring the proper functioning of production machinery and equipment, as well as the conditions of buildings and industrial facilities.
  • Implement new investments to improve and control processes.
  • Seek continuous improvement and innovation in engineering projects and process optimization.
  • Maintain a cohesive and motivated team, improving the quality of services and increasing productivity.
  • Control maintenance costs within the predetermined budget.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in perfect working condition, minimizing machine downtime due to mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate and develop predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance at the Resende unit.
  • Ensure the conservation and maintenance of utilities and infrastructure.
  • Control inventory of non-productive items, ensuring it meets the factory’s needs in terms of stock level, quality, and cost.
  • Train and guide the team to work safely and follow environmental standards in a conducive environment for individual health and well-being.
  • Manage construction projects.
  • Identify needs for improvements, maintenance, and innovations.
  • Develop technical scopes.
  • Support and monitor the hiring of third parties and service providers.
  • Manage service execution until completion and handover.
  • Be responsible for building and green area conservation.
  • Control Capex.
  • Provide necessary support to quality, safety, and environmental initiatives and contribute to the maintenance and compliance of management standards established by the company.

Requirements and Qualifications

Completed Bachelor’s degree. Desirable in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Knowledge of Maintenance Planning and Control, Good Manufacturing Practices, 5S, and Aspect, Impact, Hazard, and Risk Assessment.
