Description
The Accounting Analyst will perform accounting routines according to legal requirements and internal regulations, compiling the necessary elements for the preparation of trial balances and balance sheets.
Perform reconciliation of asset accounts, classification, and accounting reconciliation through non-accounting reports extracted from the ERP system.
Perform the company’s accounting closing through pre-analysis, classification of accounting records, and monitoring of the accounting closing schedule.
Guide areas in relation to doubts about entries in order to correct deviations, avoiding impact on the accounting closing.
Support internal/external auditing and inspections, observing the established schedule, providing information, supplying documents, analyzing and discussing discrepancies, and making corrections.
Support and contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements using trial balances extracted from the ERP and following the determinations established by the accounting manual and the Companies Law.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports using trial balances extracted from the ERP for submission to shareholders.
Prepare the ancillary statement ECD through the generation of the file in the ERP system and using technical requirements stipulated by the tax administration body.
Other Requirements
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
– Advanced Excel;
– Experience in preparing accounting reconciliations and closing;
– Active CRC registration;
– Knowledge of technical standards (CPCs, IFRSs);
– Proficiency in using systems and their reports;
– Experience in the port or mining industry is a plus;
– Intermediate to advanced English skills desired.
