We are looking for a Legal Specialist who will:

• Support internal stakeholders in providing legal advice regarding financial and investment related matters;
• Support the internal teams of operations and compliance providing legal advice;
• Work closely with the capital markets, finance and regulatory teams in order to developed structured debt operations in Brazil, such as FIDC related to credit cards operations;
• Manage work and relationships with external counsels and suppliers regarding capital markets, finance, and regulatory aspects of Clara’s operations (credit cards, payment institution’s products, relationship with the Brazilian Central Bank, and others);
• Support the company to provide informations and documents required by the Brazilian Central Bank;
• Analyze and review legal documents and contracts with clients, partners and suppliers;
• Partner with cross-functional and regional teams and provide support on legal matters of varying complexity, sensitivity, and tangibility.
• Interact with the Global Legal Team in LatAm;
• Manage and organize all legal documents related to the company’s operations and products;
• Prepare materials for external legal counsels to adapt and improve company’s business model/strategy in LatAm;

Our Requirements For This Position Are

• 2-3 years of legal practice.
• Previous experience in Financial and Corporate law.
• Previous experience with FIDCs and other investments.
• Preferred previous experience at a startup or tech company (1 year).
• English (written and spoken)
• Spanish preferred (written and spoken)
