In this role, you will drive all aspects of our testing strategy, from planning through delivery. As part of the product team, you will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers delivering world-class features and capabilities that drive outcomes for our clients. You will mentor the team on best practices and standards, driving alignment with quality, security, and compliance standards.
What You’ll Do At Pega
Develop and maintain the overall testing strategy for the teamEnsure efficient and effective testing practices aligned with Pega standards using tools like Cucumber, Playwright, Junit5 Mocking and Pact testingDesign and implement test plans and test cases for capabilities to ensure quality and that they achieve the desired outcomeLead the execution of testing initiatives and ensure that defects and vulnerabilities are identified and addressed within our defined SLAsAnalyze and report on testing results and provide recommendations for improvementStay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing technologies
Who You Are
An experienced quality engineer that has worked in an Agile/Scrum environmentAdvocate for best practices in testing and automationEnthusiastic about mentoring and helping everyone on the team be successfulEmpathetic to customer needs, wanting to understand their outcomes, not just if a feature works as designed or implementedPassionate learner with a relentless aspiration for improvementFull professional proficiency in English
What You’ve Accomplished
7+ years of experience in software testing with at least 2 years leading projectsExpert with automated testing frameworks and tools like Cucumber, Playwright, Junit5, Mocking, and PactStrong knowledge of testing methodologies in an Agile environmentStrong knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform and AWSStrong knowledge of source control and build tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven, and GradleStrong knowledge of load testing technologies and tools like JmeterFamiliar with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL databases, and Elasticsearch
