Acompanhar as atividades desenvolvidas na cozinha, passo a passo, orientando e corrigindo os colaboradores durante a execução das atividades; Executar e/ou orientar tarefas de pré-preparo e preparo em todas as áreas, inclusive açougue; Executar atividades de cocção das preparações estabelecidas nos serviços, inclusive da cozinha dietética; Decorar as preparações, zelando pela boa apresentação do produto final; Organizar a produção, e todas as áreas afins, distribuindo tarefas à equipe; Degustar o produto e apresentá-lo ao aprovador, antes de encaminhá-lo à distribuição; Assegurar bom relacionamento entre os colaboradores, administrando divergências e dificuldades de relacionamento; Realizar testes de novos produtos e receitas; Conscientizar a equipe sobre economia dos recursos naturais; Acompanhar o custo diário junto ao responsável, propondo medidas de melhoria, como controle de per capitas e padronização de porções; Requisitar os gêneros alimentícios necessários à preparação dos serviços diários; Assegurar cumprimento dos horários dos serviços e entregas.
