JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as a Materials Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a critical analysis of the replenishment points of warehouse items, proposing changes to optimize inventory capital while ensuring the needs of the maintenance department are met. You will also manage the maintenance service portfolio that relies on materials, ensuring it accurately represents the process’s reality. Additionally, you will analyze inventory levels, assess risks, turnover, and consumption frequency of materials, and ensure the maintenance department’s demands are met by updating stock items and optimizing capital and working capital costs. Other responsibilities include tracking the procurement process for maintenance materials, minimizing the risk of delays and avoiding disruptions in the process. You will also be responsible for evaluating and managing material suppliers, focusing on costs, quality, and timely delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Tertiary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electroelectronics, Logistics, or related fields (Technical Diploma required).
– Knowledge of SAP PM and MM modules, and inventory management (desirable).
– Intermediate Excel skills (desirable).
